Excellent, multi-surface blocks Aug 07, 2011

These blocks are excellent (especially for teachers) because they can be used to illustrate patterns on a magnetic whiteboard or chalkboard as well as on paper. They've held up perfectly to very frequent use by my four children, without any magnets coming loose from the foam. They're typical pattern block sizes as well, so they work perfectly with all pattern block worksheets/books.
My children use them on the fridge, the side of the stove, baking sheets, as well as papers.

My kids, ages 4.5, 2.5, love this!! We paired it with cards and bought a magnetic white board and they ask to play daily!! Great beginning to understanding spacial sense.

My kids and I love making designs on our fridge with these magnetic shapes. The fact that there are 200 of them mean we can do intricate things, and take up the whole bottom of the fridge. My 20 month old loves them too -- especially when he gets to take apart our designs.
