5A lover of puzzles  Dec 06, 2005 By Mom Extraordinaire "ellamomi2002"
I just bought this puzzle today. My 3.5 yr. old daughter was so excited to receive it. She loves puzzles and when I came across this one it looked unique. Not only will it reinforce alphabet learning but she is also learning about different professions. The design is fantastic and she is now using the puzzle as a playmat. The smaller interior puzzle has a neighborhood motif.

This is a cute and entertaining puzzle. So far we love it, love it, love it.

It is made out of a very thick, durable cardboard and looks like it will last a long time.

Definitely a must buy!

5Great quality, great implementation of an idea!  Nov 16, 2010 By P. Selph
My son dragged this into the cart while I was bargain hunting around town and I couldn't bring myself to put it back on the shelf. Each piece is the perfect size - LARGE yay! - to not get inadvertently misplaced. He is already savvy about his alphabet, but careers were a great tie-in to that knowledge. The center of the puzzle is an overhead view of a picturesque neighborhood and lends itself to being ANOTHER project/game because not only is it much more difficult to put them together (difficult for a three year old) because the pictures on the pieces take a trained eye for matching which kidlets haven't yet honed - but this is great practice! - but it ALSO has buildings and people to match the 26 careers rounding the map of the town! I challenge my kidlet to find the x-ray tech (by the hospital!) the vet, the librarian etc. I could barely stifle my trills of joy when he tried to emulate the karate teacher (female shown in a pose of some sort) and mentioned that she was in pjs. Kidlet's natural curiosity was on fire with this puzzle and he continues to inspect the people around the edges, asking about their uniforms and costumes XD It's just great to have a toy that inspires indepth dialogue.

We've had the puzzle for a few months and it's about as easy to assemble on carpet as it is on hardwood - Unless you have a Beauty and the Beast style buffet table with seating for 12, this puzzle will need to go on the floor. The puzzle can be put together in a few seconds by a capable person, making it almost easier to put it together rather than count the pieces. - I may be strangely lazy, but I stand by that statement. In a hurry, if the pieces are already on the floor, it takes less than five minutes to slide them into place and drag the kidlet out the door for the next tantrum. Uh. Adventure.

5Unique puzzle  Jan 22, 2009 By B. Bailey "B.B."
This puzzle was for my 3year old niece. It is basically a great game for any child learning the alphabet. The outer loop of puzzle pieces is made up of 26 different people with occupations corresponding to the alphabet, and inside this loop are the pieces to a tiny detailed little town with buildings that correspond to the occupations.

5The Best Infantino Puzzle  Dec 30, 2007 By Rockin' Reviewer
We have 6 of the Infantino puzzles. My 3 year old kid loves these puzzles. The pieces are big, making it easy for the younger kids to put it together. They are durable, educational, and fun. This particular puzzle is her favorite. She can't get enough of it.

4not bad puzzle  Aug 16, 2011 By Jola
Not bad puzzle at all. Another way to learn all the ABC's. I didn't find the pieces too soft and we can build it perfectly on our carpet. Another nice addition to our puzzle collection;)
