5Foam magetic letters & numbers are great  Jan 09, 2007 By Randy Ayn "ALD"
My children love playing with these foam magnets. We find that they adhere more strongly to the magnetic surface than do more traditional magnets, so much less frustrating for children to play with (especially when they are constructing words, etc).

3Magnetic ABC's  Jan 28, 2009 By C. Llapitan
My 3 year old son loves these letters. They are all over the fridge and all over his easil and unfortunately, all over the floor most of the time. I do like how many you get for the money and the container they come in for storage. I like the fact that the backside of the letter is a magnet and there is no chance of my son swallowing anything that will harm him. I don't know if we received an odd batch or what, but when we went to spell a word that had 3 a's in it we could only find 2 a's in the whole bunch, so spelling longer words or even short sentences is tough.

4Good, not Great  Dec 30, 2008 By Jace E. Mouse
These are a relatively good product. The magnets work well - strong enough to hold, but not so strong that my child can't use them. It's nice to have a collection of both uppercase and lowercase letters in one set.

However, it does seem that the manufacturer cut a few corners. Some of them arrived bent in the container, so it's taken some time to press them back into shape. I wish they would have included fewer stars and more vowels. The assortment of colors for the letters are hap-hazard - lots of one color, few of another, etc. -- but I guess that issue varies based on the words you're spelling. The shape of the 6's and 9's were a bit odd - they were the same shape for each and seem a little smaller than the other numbers.

4Great product  May 08, 2008 By J. West
These are durable and fun. Magnet covers the whole back so they actually hold things. I have caught my kids, ages 5&7, sitting on the kitchen floor spelling and doing math.WOW!They are good size too, my 1 year old loves them and I am not worried about him choking on them. I would reccomend them to anyone and I am even thinking about additional sets
