| | Description | A few months after the Battle of Geonosis, a Jedi task force is sent to the planet Hypori to destroy a massive droid factory located there. Accompanied by a reinforcement of clone troopers, the Jedi immediately run into serious trouble when orbital mines damage their ships, forcing them to crash land behind enemy lines. The Separatist leader General Grievous and his massive droid army quickly surround the small group of Jedi Knights. The Jedi manage to send a distress call, and the Republic dispatches an elite squad of fully equipped clone troopers, led by Captain Fordo, with orders to rescue the surviving Jedi. Relive these exciting Star Wars adventures with this Battle Pack. Includes five figures (three Clone Troopers, Captain Fordo, Heavy Gunner Clone Trooper,) each measuring 4". Includes "heavy" blaster cannon and blaster pistols. | |

Good Addition to the Battle Packs Line Nov 11, 2008
By Samuel E. Burns
"inquisitive-savant"
My boys love all things Star Wars, and have watched practically all of the available videos out there including the Cartoon Network "Clone Wars" series, so this item was a "must-have" the moment they saw it had been made. I'm happy that this new version was released, as the original one falls firmly in the very expensive collectibles category! This is a good set of Arc Troopers with the inclusion of a Captain and rotary blaster gunner figure, but I still feel it could have been better: they should have dropped one of the "regular" ARC Troopers and included the Cip-Quad gunner as well.
The Cip-Quad gunner IS available separately as the Clone Trooper with Cip-Quad Legacy Collection (Build-a-Droid) Star Wars Action Figure.

Great alternative to the now costly original Apr 01, 2008
By Libussa These figures are exactly the same as the ones released in the earlier battlepack, and at a much more reasonable price than the earlier battlepack that others are selling now. Same great toy/collectible, new boxing, better price!

Great Set Dec 28, 2008
By Taylor Robinson I stumbled upon this set at a local Target and was suprised it was re-released. All ARC troopers are great but the heavy gunner and captain are the best of the two. I was disappointed with the lesser three ARC's articulation and lack thereof. The three ARCs don't move at the knees and their elbow joints are swivels, which means they can't hold their guns up very well without looking awkward. Their head joints are also a swivel, not a ball joint. Accessories are good and plentiful and the set looks extra cool with a republic gunship.
Dissatisfied Aug 14, 2011 When I received this set for my birthday, I was not satisfied with the set as something to play with. The set contains five figures, but only two are fully posable. The three ARC troopers had no movable joints at the knees and ankles, and their arms did not bend either, even if they swiveled. Thus, they could not hold their guns at a shooting position. Also, their heads may only swivel side to side. Captain Fordo in red had fully movable joints, but held his rifle with some difficulty. Fordo and the rest of the ARCs have transmitters on their helmets, but these constantly fall off the helmets. The last figure is a heavy gunner and I feel he is the best character in the set with fully moveable joints and a transmitter that does not fall off. I also like his heavy repeater.
