So this is basicly what happened here. The shipping was great, arrived all good, with no delays. The item itself had two broken (small) pieces in the inside (the leg and one of the pins, from the pincushion queen). The box was fair, with some scrathes. Maybe next time a better packaging to prevent all the ups and downs the post-offices like to give in the boxes they handle.

I bought this set from things_from_another_world here at amazon (my second time buying from them through amazon, very reliable as well as very speedy) and was so excited to get them! I know that they are being marketed not only for fans of Tim Burton (the genius of him, the genius!) but as actual toys for kids too. I'm keeping mine as a collectors item and will most definitely be getting the other sets. They are also decently sized and aren't tiny like some figures I've seen. I saw them first at Barnes & Noble and they were very expensive but here at amazon they are reasonably priced. I recommend them for ANY fan of Burton. I think anyone who enjoys things slightly twisted and weird but also cute like as I do, will enjoy them!
Great toy but poor shipping Jan 05, 2011

I bought all 4 sets in the series. The other 3 I got from Things From Another World and they arrived in pristine condition, packaged very well. This one I got through Amazon to meet the USD 25 free super saver shipping minimum. Big mistake!
There was virtually no protection to the item. The box was not in mint condition as it had a lot of surface wear. One of the points on the Pin Cushion Queen's throne was broken inside the box. The box itself wasn't smashed or anything so I'm not sure if it broke due to mishandling during transit or if it was broken to begin with. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it's the former.
Anyway, I'll probably wind up ordering a fresh one from Things From Another World as I like to keep my collectibles in mint condition. I'll probably just open and display this one. I'll need to anyway in order to glue back the broken piece. This is the last time I try to save a few bucks with the free super saver shipping.

Just received today and it was smaller than I thought it would be. The shipping and packing was fine but one of the "pins" came out of the head while I was trying to get it out of the packaging.
They are very cute...I just wish they were bigger. They are about 2-4 inches big.
